method of delivery: Drinking water or eating food contaminated with the cholera bacterium. In an epidemic, the source of the contamination is usually the feces of an infected person.
symptoms of exposure: severe diarrhea, vomiting,
weakness, leg cramps, rapid fluid loss that can lead to shock
effects: Dehydration, shock, death
incubation: 12 hours - 5 days
structure: Comma-shaped bacteria lodge in the small intestines,
