symptoms of exposure: sustained fever as high as
39-40˚C, stomach pains, headache, loss of apetite, some cases have small
red rashes on abdomen and chest known as rose spots
incubation period: 1020 days
effects: severe intestinal
infection, dehydration, hemorrhage, death
structure: small circular bacteria with tails
